It is important to remember that a sober life is a life worth living! Living on a tropical island has its perks, and we want our residents to experience them. We take weekly to bi-weekly excursions with a local tour company to explore our world famous home. While discovering a new path to freedom, why not enjoy some beaches, waterfalls, and volcanoes along the way?

As to personal transportation, residents are welcome to use their own vehicles if they have them, although transportation will be provided and available as needed.

Vocational needs

As part of our transition program, we recognize the importance of taking certain strides forward. As such, we require that within 30 days of residing at Honu House, our residents will either need to be employed, be actively engaged in volunteer work, or be in school. We will assist in job acquirement or school enrollments in any way we can, including providing assistance with tasks like resume building, filling out forms, etc. We are here to help.
